Ranked matchmaking system

In Overwatch, the matchmaking tries to put teams of equal total skill against each other, even if it needs to pair a really good player with a really bad one (for that rank at least). A system like this prevents the better players from ranking up like they should, and the worse players from ranking down. Sure, it wouldn’t be fun having the “bad” player on your team every now-and-then, but eventually there wouldn’t be any chance to have a teammate like that, because this way they would naturally rank down. You would almost never get games where you team gets stomped by one enemy who should be higher rank. People should not have safety nets to fall on to prevent them from ranking down, and by the same token, have others weigh them down while climbing the ladder.
