So is there a reason why in ranked when im PLAT 1 am going against Grandmasters and Masters in my ranked games? My team consisted of diamonds and plats. What is the point of playing ranked if im just going to obviously lose? The enemy team had a GM1 player, what the hell is going on???
Itās just your turn to bite the bullet. Match-maker decided youāve had your share of fun and itās now time for someone else to. āBut in total itās 50/50 so looks balanced!ā - thatās the devs logic these days, so here goes.

I think a lot of opposing sentiment comes from the word āForcedā because many of them donāt believe thereās any reasonable explanation as to why devs would make it. And I also donāt thing thereās a reason for devs to do it.
However, thereās a nice saying:
Never attribute to malice what could be equally explained with incompetence
So if we interpret the āForcedā as in ādue to circumstancesā rather than āill will of devsā it all makes so much more sense. And thereās no arguing against those ācircumstancesā when the posts about plat in GM lobby being a norm of the day.

I am not even talking about the current match making clown fiesta thats happening where plats get qād with masters/gms or Bronze/silver players with plats/diamonds, I am talking about winning 5+ games and then getting absolute hotdog water teammates.
Yeah but thatās exactly how itād work if itās a complete random players distribution. It will be all over the place and āstreaks of (un)luckā are expected to happen when no proper match-making is in place.
