Why do i go down with 5 wins and 4 losses?

Goes based off “individual performance” which is dumb when you can go 5-0/5-1 and still derank with good performances. I think for the most part everyone is in universal agreement the ranking and matches are busted. Old SR system was bad but never this bad at least you could see your realtime progress not the game doing whatever it feels like behind a mostly hidden rating.

What is individual performance based on? I play dps, and often i get the most damage and kills. Doesn t that mean i had a good individual performance?

He should be at net +25sr if the devs are to be taken at their word.

I get 5 wins and lose 11 and still rank up, even with bad performance in some games

Same happened about mid season when I played tank, which I usually play least amount every season, so I was d5 then went like 5-6 or 5-7 and I ranked to d1

looks like a brand new account, so the adjustments will be larger than an account with more games played
Started playing around the launch of ow 1, first comp season was still like season 11 or 10 took break and continued playing from sesson 30 to this point with like at least 200 games per season expect season 2. So not really that new acc.

That can be it, but I had also an new account and know some people who also had new accs in ow 2 and the speed that it ranked you up or down seemed pretty much same as with the other accs.

ive gone 5-2 and ranked up like 3%, and gone 5-5 and dropped a whole rank. And I usually have a good looking score card, low deaths, high healing, elims, etc.

Its friday afternoon and Im ranked plat 3 and get matched against 2 GMs. 
i mean, either fix the MM or give me GM title.

Very much this. This matchmaking is beyond frustrating so just play the game for casual play… not “competitive”
Their “competitive” mode is just as competitive as their upcoming updates will be “PVE”

when your rank means literally NOTHING! Gold1 not a great player but alright but tired of getting bronze and silver players who have no idea how to even use a keyboard in my games, seriously comp is so trash idk whats the point of it; if you rank it doesn’t matter b.c you are still getting people lower than you on your team contently its so bad.I honestly think blizz has no clue anymore, this game isn’t fun and it doesn’t even make sense in any way…and the devs are not fixing it at all. seriously what is the point of comp?..
