Guess thats one way to fix long queue times. Hide everyones rank so you can match people of bigger sr gaps since no one will know. Means faster games matched

Well, most of my games had a range of 3 ranks anyways. So I am used to it.

We’ll see. Very doubtful. Theres a new icon, a white line, where the ranks should be. If theres a whole icon for it seems like its on purpose

Well, I just checked a twitch stream and the icons are showing normally. Besides, a change like this would definitely be mentioned in the patchnotes.
If it’s the one by their healthbar that one is always visible

Op is suggesting that ranks are removed to ha e quicker que times. Basically qp 2.0 but you can earn gold gun points.

Yup. They are missing from the stats screen, the pre round lobby, when loading into a match

wait can you not see them in people’s career profiles anymore? or are you talking about the tab screen?
No, i can still see career profiles unless theyre private. Just in-game theres no way to tell what rank your team is.
Maybe they did it to combat rank shaming?
yeah but that makes actually zero sense because you can still see it when you load into games and in career profile they should have just disabled it for private profile people
