I play on console. I was plat 2 and after 2 win 3 lose and 3 win. I drop down to Gold 4. Why?

No sense. I hit plat3 and again 2 win 2 lose 3 win . Drop to Gold 4

I don’t understand how ranks change either. For me I have only either gone up 2 ranks or down to ranks. Never more, never less.
I want answer from devs. Its a bug??

Well sadly you’re in the wrong place. The devs don’t come here. They don’t think the Forums is a good place.
Your skill level didn’t reflect your actual rank so you lose more points for losses because the game is trying to put you in your skill level. For example I’m a GM player so its obviously I steamrolled my way out of diamond. Even when I got more losses than wins I still went up because my skill needed to reflect in the rank. Basically what I’m saying is you aren’t a plat player just yet, you need to play more games and actually do well to get that MMR up so you can get more points whenever you get wins.

And why i hit High plat?
If you tell me that plat 5 plat 4 drop down to Gold 1 Gold 2 its ok.
But High plat drop down low Gold. Its not ok
It sounds like a bug - don’t listen to them.

Hitting a new rank doesn’t mean you actually belong in it, you need time and many games to marinate in that rank to actually consider yourself a plat. If hitting this rank is your peak for example then the game basically thinks you just got a few lucky wins. Look whatever the outcome, just play the game and you will climb back up. I cant tell you how many times I’ve dropped to masters only to climb back up and reach top 500. Its not the end of the world

This is simply false.
I just stopped playing ranked altogether. Game is much more enjoyable now without all the garbage that ranked comes with. I don’t care about some stupid rank next to my name
True. But the drop down rank is impressive. For me is a bug.
