Overwatch is an enemy specific prioritizing game but its being played by players that simply like to pew pew and whatevers infront of them. They don’t seem to udnerstand how to play this game and that they’re suppsoe to be prioritizing a champion to kill.They just fire at whatevers there. It goes against the gameplay design of overwatch. This is what makes many playersquit or not wanting to play.
The tutorial needs a rework. Most ranked players are not meeting the basic requirements that are thought in the tutorial. This is really embarresssing…Uninstalled.
I think it’s kinda… out of touch to assume everyone should be an expert on OW tactics and hero selection to play maximum meta and expect good team work between all kinds of random people.
you could get matched into a lobby with a 12 year old kid, a 60 year old grandpa, and autistic 30 year old, a 25 year old COD god, then there’s you - some super nerd OW2 wiki hero expert who knows exactly what hero everyone SHOULD be running on this map on this point at this time…
I get the frustration man but after the game and you cool off I think if you just take a moment to realize you aren’t part of the all star team in the overwatch league and you were just playing with random people who may or may not be skilled / know the meta like you do all you can do is work on yourself. Really man we’ve all been there in games where our DPS have 2 elims and 17 deaths, our hog can’t fathom switching as he eats an ana purple over and over, our kiri who misses every cleanse or the DPS who insist they can pharah against the widow/ashe… You thinking it’s possible to some how educate everyone in all your lobbies to the point that all of a sudden everyone is always gonna be aware of the meta and play the right heros and as a team is just not ever gonna happen.
with that said I think some in depth tutorials would be cool… for a few months / half a year until 2-3 new hero’s + a series of small updates over time + the community discovering new meta’s just invalidates the tutorials they made
Exactly lol. Especially when the vast majority of players are ranked plat or lower in terms of skill rating. Like why try to backseat everyone in the lobby and complain all the time when there is 0 impact outside of that 5 minute march
Because it puts alot of weight on a single individual that isn’t a “loser”. In order to be a winner he needs to do everything that is related to prioritizing while his teammates get to fool around and do random things. Also their peak serious competetive gameplay = being random. But the game itself is designed to be objective focus.
if you casual play is what overwatches player base is pushing towards when the GAME is not designed to be in any way casual. Then that game will die off eventually.
The only reason overwatch is still popular and played is because there isn’t any fast based movement moba style payload shooter in the market at the moment but are coming soon.
Randomness = woke
Priority = Based
Overwatch is not a randomness woke game. Overwatches game is based and focused on prior. Your forcing conscious and aware straight competetive players that enjoy playing objective based prior games to become gay woke random casuals that enjoy being ignorant. So in the end you will lose alot of based players to future ," priority based BASED GAMES".
Overwatch is a based prior game thats being played and forced to be woke, random and gay. its working . The based prior based players are leaving.
Lmfao if you’re feeling “weight” from a VIDEO GAME, one that in all likelyhood you aren’t making a living off of, are probably plat 3 or under (just statistically not a jab at skill), then you have much bigger issues to deal with
The games designed to be prior target focued. Its a game being played by players that are random which is the opposite of how the game is designed to be played. Straight based men enjoy playing priority focused objective focused games which is overwatch the game. However when they start playing the game. The realise that their teammates are not on the same page. Their teammates are not based. not prior or objective focused. Their teammates are the opposite, full fo randomness and most likely woke and gay.
Therefore straight based competetive men that enjoy priority focused obnjective based games will not enjoy playing overwatch due to its woke randomness players.They will instead play another game that doesn’t add so much weight on him even when his teammates are the same randomness clowns. For now that game is League for me.
There was a character that allowed me to 3 shot kill the enemy dps and healers which allowed me to carry a team of random apes and that hero was ANA. Ana is now 4 shots to kill. The randomness DPS and tank in their randomness gameplay will not focus down the priority targets. I will ahve to do that. how am i suppsoe to do that when the enemy ds and support hides behind the wall after 3 hits healing themselves and getting back into the fight. Now that they figured out that i’m playing 1v9. They ignore my teammates and come straight at me.
Difference between league and overwatch for me
league of legends : If you kill me. I’ve set it up in such a way that my teammates will kill you. 1 life in exchange for all 5 of the enemy team. Endeing the game.
League of legends : If you kill my teammates. I’ve setup the fight in a way where my teammates have doen enough and ill clean the fight 4 for 5. With me alive and ending the game.
Overwatch : I f you kill me. My team starts dying 1 by 1 because they can’t do anything without me.
Overwatch : if my teams dead. I can’t do anything because i’m now 4 shots to kill.
Blizzard’s every decision are decisions not from a gamer perspective. Theya re doing thinsg that makes it easier for randomness babies to play. That feeds the woke.
So what that means is give it a few more months with all the new moba style shooters OTW. Overwatch will lose its based player base. Based player carry games. Random players flock to where based players go to. Which means that the game will lose alot of its player base.
