I’m trying to play competitive and it has disconnected me for no reason twice. The last match I played it disconnected me and 3 other people as well. My tank and two others on the enemy team.
I tried to play another match and it’s disconnected me again and gave me a 15 minute penalty. I have a video of it just kicking me out if needed.
My internet is fine, my console is fine, it just kicked me out. I really don’t want a penalty to my rank because of this.
You got a 15 minute penalty??? I got comp banned. I didn’t get dcd I was talking to 2 other people in the home scree through match chat . I dont know what to do really. Guess it suck to suck and I have to wait months for next season. photos of match chat in select screen.
Yupppp. It’s been happening to a bunch of us…hoping they just restart the season because this is a bummer.

Exact same issue here. I receive a “client requested disconnect” error and I am kicked back to the Home Screen with a leaver penalty. No explanation for it, console and internet are both fine.
Same I now have a 8 hour comp wait and sticking to quick play until they figure there crap out at least if I get kicked there it’s just xp debuff

My bro got dc’d and ended up getting a season ban. Me and another friend got dc’d and we’re both suspended. This game is failing its player and supporters.
Fr it really is. It’s happening in qp and custom games too. I haven’t seen them talk abt their plan to fix it or even acknowledge it.
Hopefully they just restart the season, or at least fix the comp bans and penalties.
This is an issue for tons of people. Me included but it doesn’t look like it will be acknowledged or fixed anytime soon so I get to enjoy my season ban because of it, that and loading in and being stuck in the map unable to move or select a character.
It keeps disconnecting me for client requested disconnected and I can’t play.
if you guys/gals paid attention to the battlenet client there was a yellow yield signal on the game before launch which i saw that made me decide not to play last night which stated they were under a DDOS attack and you most likely would experience disconnection issues

Yes while that is going on, people being randomly disconnected like that had been happening since the launch of season 4 and then some . Sometimes the game requesta the disconnect and it leaves players with a ban.
this may be true but you completely ignored the warning message last night which makes it your fault not theirs
It’s not just last night thought, And to be honest I didn’t get the ddos warning till this morning when I tried to log on. I had no warning last night nor did anyone I played with. And yes people shouldn’t play when the game is at risk but the disconnection happens to people all the time, not just last night.
like i said the issue was massively expedited due to a ddos attack which YOU IGNORED your fault
Maybe in order to protect people, like other companies they shut down the servers to prevent issues. And it’s hard to know about a ddos when they don’t address it till 12am
