Even when there are ppl that claim that Moiras primary is not a soft-lock attack, she can’t decloak Sombra with her attacks, other than Winston with his Tesla canon who can do exactly that. Curios.

Fun fact: Moira’s Secondary fire (her damage beam) works very differently to every other beam.

Every character in the game has a sort of oval shaped hitbox around them, and this oval hitbox is ONLY for Moira’s secondary fire. That’s because her beam has 0 width. And if Moira looks inside that hitbox she’ll be able to do damage to you.

My guess is that hitbox disappears completely whenever Sombra turns invisible and that’s why Moira can’t attack her. Her orbs can’t even hit Sombra either. I don’t know about the healing orb tho, that might be different
