Yup its A Solution, but not an optimal one cause the Killfeed is necessary. So something has to change on Blizzards Side. They need to make sure everything runs flawlessly like e.g. CS:Go.

I tested the killfeed theory on stream and did some tests and Iā€™m 100% convinced that the killfeed is running at a lower framerate than the rest of the game, or at the very least causes microstutters. When the framerate is stable above 178fps or so it causes video input delay and stutters every time the killfeed appears.

I did several matches in DM and comp w/o killfeed and it felt significantly better. This seems like a real issue that needs to be solved especially for high framerates.

thanks you for your kind and informative reply, sorry, blizzard dev will most likely ignore this, or will not fix anytime soon (i hope they are) (iā€™m getting tired with OV dev, sorry for being so unoptimistic)

  • 00:14 to 00:16 my mouse felt slow as u can see, itā€™s kinda hard to see it but it felt floaty or slow to turn or aim

  • 00:31 - 00:33 a slight hiccup :((( ( i had aim but the shuriken and the melee came late and my sim is on 9 when i headshot something

  • 00:40 - 00:41 another hiccup

Same here. I played without the Killfeed and it really felt much smoother, then playing with.

So is there any way to create an Open Petition here in the Forums? Maybe then Blizzard will listen to us.

GrassHopper and everyone here I made a thread about this specific issue(there are some by now :|.
Check out the last messages on GrassHopperā€™s thread and hopefully we will be able to make the petition GrassHopper offered ?
