What it says in the title. Queueing for a match will randomly cancel and I have to requeue. There isn’t even a sound to say that it’s been cancelled. So I guess I have to stare at the screen for 15 minutes just to make sure I’m still being placed in a match.
Yeah I literally just received this as well. First time queuing for dps in a long time wait 12 minutes BAM que stops for nothing and i requed and continue waiting and won’t play dps much longer with this going on.
typically i play support but you know havn’t dpsed in like a month so woulda been nice for a change of pace.
This is becoming increasingly common.
At one point today, I queued as damage to take a break from tanking. What was my experience? Game 1: “Error starting game, trying again.” Game 2: Dropped from queue with no notice (the problem we’re talking about here). Game 3: One of enemy team didn’t even make it into game, so the game shut down. 40+ minutes of utter B.S. waiting to just get into a game. Finally into a game, I got to enjoy another teammate talk about his genitals and copulating at near max volume before finally muting him.
This queue cancellation occurred another two times after at various points in the night.
I can understand a game cancelling due to lack of players (leave/DC/game crash) but to have it fail to start due to an error or silently drop me from queue is infuriating. Perhaps this is a design idea of someone at Blizzard for how to reduce the number of people queueing for damage role, because it either discourages people from wanting to play or queueing for a role they’re uncomfortable in.
