Usually, we get the latest collaboration, but I was thinking. Maybe OW has done something like this before. Give each hero their own title screen, could be something as simple as a pose. Widowmaker posing with her rifle, for example. Could be handled like a highlight.
I’ll admit up front I have an ulterior motive. I want to see widow on the title screen once in a while. I know she’s a villain, and she’ll never be the poster girl for OW, but there are so many heroes whom I feel don’t get the screentime they deserve.
If we could showcase a hero, randomly, on the title screen, that could change.

I feel like the Mythic weapons and Mythic skins are the heroes main screen fame now.

I didn’t, unfortunately. But I know what you mean. Like a while back Ashe had the title because of her mythic.

My ideal Reaper screen would be in his chilled pose in the Lu Bu skin, golden shotguns with a gothic backscreen. I would be a very happy chap with that. Then I would crank up Linkin Park’s “Crawling” for aura boost of 100 lol

Nope. Anything to do with Widow screen will give me PTSD from Junker as a Reaper main when nobody on my team bothers to counter (the joys of trash team mates).

Slight change of subject, but I wanted to ask a reaper main. Do you have fun playing him?
Widow can be the antifun for me, sometimes.

I love playing Reaper, because of the roleplay element combined with the gameplay element.
I love to say the line “Everyone who see’s me will die” after I’ve killed the enemy players-or before. And I just love unloading the blossom in the middle of a massive battle-when it works, it wipes the enemy and we go on to save the game…it just has so many influences to impact fights.
And he has some really sick skins. Anubis, Lu Bu, Wight… has some humourous voice interactions with other heros and interesting lore…I just love to play him.
And there’s nothing more aura inducing than when you’re Reaper, and you use that strolling emote with the “Resist and Disorder” song from Cyberpunk playing in the background.
People say Reaper is only for edgy people but I find he’s a really satisfying hero to play which is why I’ve stuck with him since OW1. If you know how to play him right and time the fights right, you can turn every single losing battle into a win. Simple as. If I had a choice between my two favorite hero’s of the game to play unconditionally, between Rein and Reaper-Reaper every day.
