Ramatra is either broken garbage or broken OP

In a cordinated team, he’s down right busted. He just doesn’t die and has so much in his kit to hard engage the enemy.

In an un cordinated team, your going to die, a lot. He’s slow as an oyster, and once you hard commit to a fight your in it, there is no running away, it’s do or die.

He is not, i can list 4 or 5 tanks that do better with a coordinated team

It´s quite the opposite, the more of a mess is the match and the more dumb your enemies are, higher are the chances of you succeding as ramattra

Ram isn’t that good.

He’s one of the most balanced tanks released EVER :skull:

He is slow and his ranged options aren’t that great. Up close he’s very weak to stuns, knock backs, slow etc. The new DF that can stun on every punch cleans his clock. At range he’s just a very large target. His shield unless your super close doesn’t provide much protection against targets on the high ground and has a long CD besides that.

Up close, on the point he can be deadly. If he’s holding block he can be insanely hard to kill, but then he’s not doing anything. Without the Aoe dmg of his ult if Ram is blocking you can just ignore the turtle and kill the rest of his team.

I’m trying to understand what the point of the Nemesis form was.

Well, think of it this way…

Ramattra basically relies on two attacks to get most of his damage out. His primary fire in Omnic form, and his primary fire in Nemesis form.

Thing is, you don’t really need Nemesis form to have Pummel on there. It could’ve easily been Omnic form alternative fire, and his barrier added to shift (and a lot more controllable and angle-able this way too). I really don’t see the point of having Nemesis form just to gain a Block button on there, and especially with Ravenous Vortex being available on both forms.

He’s already huge enough for a Tank, getting even bigger and not have the same kind of sustainability that Roadhog has without using Block, and barrier is the superior choice either way.

Strip away the primary fires, he’s actually fairly basic and minimalized. He doesn’t have the ability variety that other Tanks have. Ravenous Vortex isn’t even that great of an ability.

It’s weird, and feels counter-productive. “Oh? Close-ranged now, let me get bigger and punch you and the rest of the team.” Again, the point of the Nemesis form isn’t really there when Pummel could’ve easily been fixed to alternative fire, much like Mei’s Endothermic Blaster’s two firing modes.

He feels like a Frankenstein of a mess. I hope they look at him. He is like all the other tanks but nerfed down.

My perfect world is:

Leave ram as he is, maybe a little buff
Buff jq a little
remove doom buffs related to empowered punch and buff other parts of his kit
Keep ball, rein, dva, winston, orisa and zarya

Hog get´s put in the void for a little while

what a wonderful world

For every smart player theres 100 stupid ones. So considering that he must be op af.

Lol

These forums are a good way to prove that, today i saw a dude saying that ball is a fat DPS

Maybe ramattra is indeed OP

What you need to understand is those of us who are willing and capable of learning and understanding the game, typically arent the ones who are going to spend $20 on a skin…

Even the matchmaking system is designed in a way to hold the hands of those players

That’s every single tank at every rank.

I can picture him+Sojourn in a OWL team. Sojourn will throw slow, Ram will throw his area of effect on top of it.
