No counter at all, except for shooting the big target with no shield, staying behind shields or natural cover, or staying out of his reach for max three seconds.

He has no shield, but he has a 80% dmg reduction ability, with no cooldown. Also he can shoot throw shield
Any CC will interrupt him from blocking, and when heās not blocking heās just a Roadhog who canāt heal.
No clue. They want me grind or pay for the character in a game that was called āOVERWATCHā - and not locked behind a pay-grind wall.

Thereās only one non-tank CC that will stun him out of thisā¦and thatās Ana.
Outside of that, notā¦really anything you can do about his ultimate while he blocks. And assuming he has healers, heās going to survive it quite easily.
The best counter before was to just outrun him, but with his speed in Nemesis form now, itās just not viable unless you have a Lucio speeding you away and they donāt have one of their own to chase.
Ok but every game is gonna have a tank, and half the roster have interrupt abilities. Specifically:
- Hog hook
- Orisa javelin
- Rein charge
- Doom punch
And even if you couldnāt, so what? He is still taking damage. Doom first blocks even more damage during power block and regularly dies during it.
Still not convinced? Look at the numbers:
Moira & Mercy are the strongest healers going. Together, they can put out ~115 hps with their primary fired. 215 iirc if Moira throws her orb.
Tracer does 240 DPS alone. Symmetra can do 180 with just her primary fire., ~300 with the turrets. Sure you have to divide that for his damage mitigation, but you can also multiple that by 5 because the rest of the team can shoot at him at the same time.
So he can still die, even when he has the strongest heal going. And thatās not even factoring in anti heal, or people shooting from behind (100% damage there) or other things. Thereās just so much more to the equation than the 75% block.
And I know, because Iāve been playing Ram all day, and I have died during block quite a few times. And Iām winning most of my games as Ram btw, so Iām not a bad Rammatra either
The counter to his ult is to focus all fire on him while backing up. If he blocks, youāll escape his range quickly.

Yeah Iāve been playing Ram non stop since he was released in comp and you better believe when I activate that ult Iām hauling 4ss and running at those healers cause if you hesitate itās game over. Even better if I flank with it.
I suppose itās a bit like Earthshatter in that way
So the solution is just shot him? You know that can apply to every hero in this game? Ramatra ult shouldnt be infinite

What his block? The one where he canāt do anything but block while heās using it?
Well, the community has no one to blame but itself for that. Except me, I said the 5v5 changes would have negative effects on the game forever.
Ramattraās ult requires him to remain in close range of you for quite some time, and it offers him no additional defense. His only defense is to block, which prevents him from pursuing you and causes him to quickly lose the ult.
Tracerās dps is 110. 1 second reload, 1 second of firing, each cycle is 2 seconds and she has 220 damage per clip.
Yeah the speed boost is kinda broken. Now it forces one support to go Ana. Sleep is kinda easy to land on Ram but your team almost always will break the sleep or the other team will have a Kiriko soā¦

What you just said ISNāT a counter, thatās like saying āshoot moreā, yes you can melt his hp IF you have a good team and he ults at a dumb timb, HOWEVERā¦
If ulted at the perfect time, he can punch through your shield, remember itās a melee, not a projectile, his AOE also adds to the damage and goes through your shields, so itās literally a moving ult that severely slows you down that YOU CANNOT outrun (no phasing/dashing will give you distance to escape it unless you can tell the ults coming and teleport with reaper/sym otherwise itās a infinite ult if youāre near him) and even tanks hp and armour get melted
The only times iāve successfully killed him is a) when he ults at a dumb time i.e not enough of his team to assist him and you can bully him with your FULL team till he FINALLY gives in OR b) iāve melted his HP myself with sym but i was lucky because thereās no other team mates to help him, by the time he wanted to do something i had lvl3 beam, i JUST managed to kill him with 5hp left
Remember he can block aswell, I donāt recollect the actually situation but i think at one time his block actually resisted a FULL hog ult, and h literally had 5hp and my ult couldnāt kill him

You do realise the game has payloads and objective points right? you HAVE to be close range to push the cart and objective, infact the ramattra i fought one time got ult twice and both times he stopped the cart that had inches left from going over and we lost (i was support) he just calmly punched everyone to death, that wasnāt a āchasing peopleā scenario you mentioned, also even in your scenarios, when done correctly i.e if he ulted close, you cannot run anyways so what do you mean ādies when pursuing you?ā with AOE slow you cannot run once he activates it near you. You literally MUST teleport to put a huge gap between him and you (i.e sym/reaper) and even then you MUST be midrange and see it coming, if youāre right next to him you canāt run. I had a hanzo friendly tried to dash out of it and he died, look at the range and diameter of the thing next time (god itās one huge circle)
p.s NO additional defence? his block can take the strongest ult close range, even tankfist can tank a dva ult

I think hog ult is one of the biggest counters. Either kills him or knocks him far enough away that his ult will end.
