Rails can provide effective temporary cover from single high damage shots.

What…?

That’s stupid.

Honestly rails should be purely visual, breaking as soon as you walk into them or shoot them, with the shot going through the rails.

You can hide behind a railing and it will absorb one shot from Hanzo or Widow.

No… It goes through the rail. Like the breakable rail

Many rails soak a single hit or multiple hits of damage from some characters.

Because it’s fun to break them.

I do find them slightly annoying as well. Not sure if it’s worth a change, though.

You know what’s even worse? Sym orbs can’t break them for some odd reason.

I hate rails when I hook someone with Roadhog. I would have killed them but the railings stopped the hook. So dumb.

Rails can block a high noon bullet for you. (seriously Blizz needs to fix that)

I wouldn’t mind them at all if it didn’t make using some abilities such a hassle.

Are the railings still handled client side?

OSHA is no joke.

Plot twist, the Overwatch Organization gets shutdown by OSHA international… Not enough guard rails…
