Is ragdoll echo going to be available next halloween event? I missed it and i thought it was coming back but i didnt see it in the anniversary.
Nope.
It was a weekly challenge.
I doubt it will ever come back out.

I wonder if at some point they will start putting all these limited skins in the store for straight up purchase, like so many other games are wont to do these days.

Sadly most of my Echo skins are on psn so when I made the switch to pc I had to leave many behind including Ragdoll Echo which is my favorite

I know it was a challenge skin but it also came with an event so I think that these skins specifically should come back with that event. Like the ashe skin wasnt tied to an event so I dont expect it to come back.
I think that event challenge skins should come back. The year that they release, they can only be earned via the challenge. Every year after, sell them like new Epics (750 credits) to make up for them being a bit more special than standard epics.
Would be a much better system in my opinion

Epic skins have really been stepping it up these past few years. Ragdoll Echo, Frosty Roadhog, Sandcastle Bastion just to name a few. All are really detailed.

The downside is that you previously had to get nine wins; and that was a grind for some. And others who had to find time to play the game to get those nine wins for the items. I don’t think putting them up for credit would be fair.
Alternatively there could have an arcade game where you can get previous skins. But only during the event it comes from, a year later.
Frankly I don’t care how it’s done, I just think that locking away challenge skins tied to annual events is stupid.

It’s plain business. Special events brings in player activity. So I can see why they don’t return. How we feel about that doesn’t change it.
Didn’t the event challenge skins only start last summer games? It means that it’s possible they might return with this summer games
That 9 win grind ( which rly isnt a grind like really 9 wins in a whole week) should be the cost of getting the skin a year ealry. Like with demon hunter sombra. It was a goodie from the Blizzcon event but it later was a skin. The blizzcon price tag was the price of getting it early.
Those started a year earlier than that, actually. We found out last SG that they don’t return.
Blizzcon Sombra was always going to come to the game afterwards. It’s completely different to event skins. Sombra’s wasn’t limited to Blizzcon. They didn’t mention how it would come back, only that it would. And so far, that is the only skin to ever return.

I still think that these limited challenge EVENT skins should return because theyre still tied to the event.
