Quickplay too difficult?

Hi, my account has 4 hours on it and I have a friend trying to teach me how to play, but I’m struggling way harder than I expected because I seem to be getting placed against accounts that have really high competitive ranks (plat, diamond, sometimes masters) and with lots of hours. What can I do about it? I’m really not enjoying this and am borderline about to uninstall

You aren’t the only one having this issue.

its literally pulling me into matches with people that all have comp drive records and really high ratings.

This is getting out of hand. I dont know what the actual (redacted) is going on. but this is becoming flatout abusive.

Im not a competitive player, just chilling and everyone is running around like they are on 10 cases of redbull.

Im about ready to call up rack space and report server operator abuse at this point.

Can I just add to this, what a terrible experience with customer support. It’s hard to get to talk to them in the first place because of the unintuitive form with a weird lizard creature?

And then I get a random support agent each response which tells me the most generic response?

I’ll be uninstalling until this is sorted

My advice:

  • Play with friends who have enough experience to carry and teach you the basics.
  • Try to find ways to have fun while you learn. For instance, when I play with my unexperienced friends and they are hard diffed, I just try to boost their morale by goofing around, concentrating on other things, discussing strategies with them, inventing “side quests”.

U need to be really patient. There is nothing much you can do about it but to try to have fun, play with friends and get experience. Trust me, it’s frustrating for the experienced players too to have a newcomer in their team. But that’s the system and QP is just chaos.

It has nothing to do with the server operator lmao. This is the system. QP doesn’t have an actual MMR or it’s very wide and the matchmaking is just a lottery, practically nonexistent. For more balanced games I would suggest comp but that’s way worse than QP lmao.
