Quicker Play ain't the Play

Blizz, come the fugg on. Why are we forced to PTR this mode? Do you not have playtesters? Do you not understand how unfun and bull it is for a game to be over in less time it takes to get in to the game? This is insane. All you need to do is steal more ideas for balancing from TF2, it’s not that hard. Everyone knows you didn’t make this an Arcade mode because you know it would have been unplayed and unpopular as all get out.

Is this really the modern Blizzard play? An enforced anti-fun mode “for science” that can’t even bother to enforce any anticheat? Hell yea bro, getting wall and aimhackers for >0 games in a row is totally coincidental. I’m done man. Y’all are so bad you can’t even just steal from TF2. Even Paladins is better than this. I can tell that, and I’ve only played it one time in the past four years. You devs deserve every bad word said against you, totally insane that you’d enforce a mode in the vein of “wow, you didn’t cap first? Guess you just lose them lmao.”

I can’t stress enough how out of touch you devs are. This is insane. Do you know of the popular game League of Legends? It has this mode called Ultra Rapid Fire, or “URF” for short. It’s also not the primary game mode. Do you know why? Because everything being super fast is not fun in the long term. It’s only fun in small doses. In this case, that is your case, small doses is “once.” Get it together. Don’t enforce PTR material on the greater playerbase just because you, a billion-dollar company, is too cheap to pay for proper in-house playtesting. Yeesh.

Blizzard has some comments a long time ago that most people spent on avg about 20min in the PTR. With experimental mode being a similar role very few people actually ended up playing those modes for a large dataset.

Forcing QP for the weekend ensures a massive data collection since there is no functional replacment for QP. Not unless you want to go into Comp.

Internal playtesters are faulty as well. While it can lead them into generally a large direction, they ultimately need and should get player feedback on most changes before rolling out a change flat and finding out no one likes it.

I think the feedback overall is that many people are like whoa against the all roles getting healing as well as severe dislike for the QP mode.

+1000 They destroyed the core of the game this weekend, this should have been a separate mode in “ARCADE” or “EXPERIMENTAL”, not forcing a trash game mode on QP.

It’s a limited time fun mode. It’s literally happening only for the weekend. You know what you can do if you don’t want to play the limited time mode? Don’t play it. You can play comp where nothing has changed, or you can not play the game over the weekend and come back on Monday when the mode is no longer active.
