Widow is a non-issue. If you want to complain about a sniper character that’s constantly OP and never nerfed, complain about Ashe.
If you’re losing to Widow, it’s a skill issue.

As someone who has and still does play both widow and sombra i am kinda excited too see her when im sombra. Kind of a guilty pleasure since she can bully her pretty bad
Although i have been surprised and caught off guard about some enemy teams treating her like royalty…probably pre-made i would think 
THEN there are those RARE occasions that you run across a CRACKED widow (probably not rare in HIGHEST rankings) who always one shots you out of stealth 
I do have ONE code of honor tho if i go against a mirrored widow who bests me…i don’t switch to sombra…
If i started out as sombra then HAHA…too bad

In quickplay when im not widow and as a teammate dps or support and the teammate goes widowmaker i get that sinking feeling of a TOUGH game
I rarely see widows carry my team
If im widow then i am sure my team has the same feeling and i rarely carry them
I carry more as sombra or moira
It does depend a little bit on the hero I’m playing, but generally yes, I like playing against/with Widowmaker.
I think i am more dismayed at seeing a teammate widow then a teammate combo of mercy/lifeweaver
Agreed. If someone’s losing to Widow then they didn’t get her banned. Being unable to convince people to ban Widow on one of her maps is absolutely a skill issue.

The fun thing about an enemy Widow is that when she’s scoped in, she tends not to realize what’s going on outside of her FoV

That’s also when Flankweaver really ought to make an appearance, if I’m on Support. I just need to regain the ability to flank so confidently as LW again

If I’m playing qp support, seeing a widow or ashe (sometimes even freja or hanzo) just tempts me to play mercy. If they’re like a high level or something, damage boost them i see what they can do. If they’re practicing them to get better then I’ll damage boost and see them get happy when they get some kills. Other than that i don’t really mind who my teammates play. If they want to play widow then go for it. Don’t really care about enemy widows if I’m on support. They don’t usually get snipes on me cuz i try to pay attention to where she is at all times and make sure something is between us if possible. And if I’m playing dps I’m usually already on sombra so love seeing an enemy widow then 
Absolutely not. One shot hit scan snipers have no business in objective based hero shooters. I don’t give a damn about character identity.

i do have a video of a widowmaker hard carrying our team. i remember thinking wow this game was easy…
i didnt think it was the teammate widowmakers doing … ( they had an asian name also )
Nah she ruins fun most of the matches. Hitscan sniper shouldn’t even be a thing. (Especially one without weapon sway and other negatives of snipers in games)
