I hate people playing heroes they’re not good at level 200+ and losing every game only to say “its just qp” or “qp is for practice”. There are always custom games you can use to practice. If you don’t know what hero you’re good at playing even after the level 100 then you’ve been wasting your time. I use qp to practice for comp not to practice what hero I’m good at. If you’re a beginner or haven’t played for at least 50 hours then I understand but if you’ve played past that then stop using qp to practice dps and ruin the game for player like myself.
Quickplay is not a place for you to practice, and a game is not a place for you to play around
Something is fishy here
But it’s just quickplay
Quick Play is NOT a place for you to tryhard
Why would I use Quick Play to practice my mains for competitive? I’m comfortable with my mains in competitive, I’m not going to ‘practice’ them in a meaningless game mode. Instead, I’d rather play the heroes I don’t main and get better with them, it’s either that or create an alternate account (and nobody wants that).
I really think there are some people with a lot of misconceptions of what “practice” “warm up” and “training” actually is here.
It absolutely is. You shouldn’t lose your mind on it though, but you are mistaking QP for Arcade/Custom mate.
what’s fishy about it? I’m telling people not to use qp as a practice for other heroes not to practice for comp.
There’s nothing gained and nothing lost in QP. Expecting people to play what and how YOU want in there is stupid.
Video… Game.
I will play as I like.
quickplay is a place to have fun and get hammer kills with torb
there are people who play heroes they can’t play and lose the game. I know its not comp but I rather win than lose
Yeah its a place to practice in my eyes. I really dont care what anyone else thinks. I will contribute my best to my team. If im failing them ill swap over to something useful but I will definitely practice
Custom games aren’t necessarily good for that, since you won’t have the same conditions as in QP/Comp. (For example, Widow only mode is good to train your mechanical skills, but not necessarily your positioning with a team.)
So you practice the heroes you suck at to use at competitive? You should use your best ones at comp.
Level 100 for 30 characters isn’t enough. You can get a grasp of what each can do, but know for sure which you’re good? Not really. Good deal of the heroes I used to “main” before the 200 aren’t the ones I use the best right now. Also you can get good at different heroes.
I’d prefer someone who knows what they’re doing as DPS on my team that a guy that passive-agressively picks a third healer to do nothing.
Sucks to be you, what can I say.
Want people to play in organized fashion? Go to comp. There you have all the right to yell at Sombra-Sym-Bastion-Widow comps.
bring back the loses counter and watch how everyone starts trying all the sudden.
Same applies to you. You want to practice for comp, join a custom…
There is a lot of difference between “Trying hard to win” and “Play this game like I want”. You are mixing 2 absolutely different things. Don’t go so hardcore on a strawman mate.
Please no, other day I was playing solo and went healer to help the team just to see 4 DPS instalock and one Rein that would charge on the enemy team alone several games in a row. Probably went above 8 lose streak ;o;
Because no one has a reason to be trying. If something is at stake, it is more likely to have them trying.
I get your point, it just is depressing to see when you are trying and loses anyway XD
