Please, this. I love the competitive format but I don’t enjoy the stress from worrying about playing at my peak or worrying I’m ruining someone else’s rank. Played it, didn’t enjoy it, qp and arcade since then. If this happens, unranked all the way.

To play in a competitive format without having to worry about rank, as well as having the ability to group with friends of different skill levels.

whats the difference between unranked and quick play?
Unranked has competitive format, meaning that you would play attack and defense with a time bank as well as position markers for the cart or captures. You would also have the same map pools (i.e. lack of Paris/Horizon before the last update) and hero pools/hero bans if they’re ever to return.

Honestly it is exhausting doing both. I understand for competitive integrity it’s necessary, but this game is so lacking in that department, who really cares anymore?
Fair point but you can’t actually learn time bank management from normal quickplay, and comp is no place to learn , one thing I really hate about overwatch is how it is meant to be competitive but will do 0 incentive to players to actually learn the game , no damage pop ups , one has to go to wiki ,not having the habit of pressing tabs and checking enemy spawn leads to over engaging and dying one by one. I can list so many things this game does wrong (not balance) and this is one of them, I remember when I first played comp I didn’t know what was going on , because I started with quick play , but If quickplay was already in ranked format , you’d know what to do.
