Quick Play 3+ minutes?

I’m experiencing 3+ minutes for quick play queue to pop. It used to be instant back in the day. It’s been progressively getting worse and worse. Now quick play is taking longer than a competitive match used to take. It’s no longer “quick”.

I used to play Overwatch 5-6 hours per day around Summer 2018.

Now I’m playing 5-6 hours per month.

Because players are doing placements, are grinding for those last arcade event loot boxes, are playing comp because it’s better.

Can’t say I’ve been having long waiting times. My games have been instant. And I’m in EU at an ungodly hour.

It usually takes me a minute or two at the most. Usually instant.

This. Still having instant/fast/decent queue times even if I happen to play at 4-5am or something on EU.

QP queue times are noticeably higher for me, too.

It used to take at most 30 seconds, with an average of >10.

Now 30 seconds is the minimum wait time, with an average queue time of around two minutes.
