While sitting in my 8th 20+ minute queue for the day, it occurred to me that i dont really care about the mode im playing. I’ve been queuing all day for quickplay and Competitive stadium, whichever is a shorter queue, and its made me think.
What if we could queue for multiple games and just get put into whatever the match maker finds first?
Like if we want to play comp for the rewards we could queue for both Comp and stadium comp? Or if we want to just play stadium we can queue for stadium and stadium comp?
Its not like stadium rank matters anyway so it wouldn’t really hurt cause all the casual comp players would populate the rookie ranks

But why, though? 2 and a half hours of nothing to play THIS game? Das cray cray.
Queueing multiple modes with a big splash for what pops up would be so good, esp if you could stay in queue playing another mode while a different one keeps matchmaking you. Rare modes (like PVE) might actually find players for them, in that case.
IDK about how complex the logistics would get, but the functionality would be really cool.
I dont really focus on my main device for most of the day when gaming, ive been playing games for a long time so im used to doing something else while i queue, having wireless headphones on and listening for the queue to pop while i do something else like housework or using a different device has become a habit.
