Question to Orisa Protective Barrier ? vs. Reinhard

Hello guys. I’m casual gamer in overwatch. There have been many changes and patches recently. I have some question for you:

1.) Can Orisa’s Protective Barrier prevend/block Reinhardt’s “Charge” ?
Today i played Kings Road and Reinhard charge into my barrier (right in the middle) and he stopped BEFORE the shields. Short time later, he broke through my barrier like it wasn’t there (multiple times). But the barrier still protect against shots. She was still there!

2.) Is it correct that Reinhards “Fire Strike” is going through Orisas barrier and make damage behind the shield ? How much damage exactly make it behind the shield ? (if I am directly behind it)

3.) Does Reinhards “Earthshatter” strike through the shield from Orisa ?

No. But it’s stopped by fortify and supercharger.

Yes. Shield does not reduce damage by firestrike. Certain abilities and projectiles go through shield as if it wasn’t there. Rocket Punch, FireStrike, etc.

No. Earthshatter does not go through shields.

Funny thing is that he did firestrike on the other side of the barrier here but it got blocked anyway since he wasn’t all the way through?

If you see Reinhardt running straight at you, he’s likely about to use it as soon as he crosses your barrier. If you see him doing this, backpedal quickly away from your shield and maintain a good distance. The old barrier is now your bait to get him to use his firestrike and be ready to place a new one at your feet.
