Today I saw an advertisement on Facebook saying I could upgrade to the Legendary Edition with a discount. So I clicked the link to see what I would get for the upgrade and realized I already have all 5 legendary skins and 1 epic skin of the selection (not the Origins ones).
Question is: Will I get any compensation for purchasing the upgrade and already having these skins?
from what I know, no, only things you get if you buy it now would be the other 4 epic skins, the origins skins and the rewards for the other games
Confirmed you will not receive any compensation for any skins you already collected in the standard game. That being said this is still the only way that you can acquire the five exclusive Origins skins.
Oh I see. I think Blizzard should compensate with legendary lootboxes for the legendary skins and normal lootboxes for epic skins, but it’s just a thought…

yeah, you’re not wrong there, especially since the “legendary edition upgrade” also shows up for people who bought origins edition before it got replaced with legendary. what do we with origins edition get if we already have the legendary and epic skins? literally nothing. we already have the special skins, we already have the special cosmetics for the other blizzard games, we have the skins…
buying legendary edition when owning origins is basically just donating to blizzard for a game that is kinda infuriating in it’s current stuns 24/7 state
