Is it normal that my flicks to the left side feel much more comftorable and are much easier than to the right side? Also how can I practice my flicks to the right side efficiently?
Yes, it’s same for all people who is not using fingertip grip(but overall this grip is bad for fps and nobody in ow uses it)
No way to get good at these flicks, most of the times u just flick to the right side randomly, and then adjust with flick to the left side which u have to be good at.
I actually feel more comfortable flicking to the right xD
Flicking is more of just moving your mouse to a certain direction and tries to get a lucky shot. Thats how I view flick shots. But they are really useful. Flicking to your left if you’re right handed is easier because you aren’t going the opposite way from your body thats probably why.
Because u do very little flicks, which can be good with right side flicking(because u have almost no motion for the right side flicking and aswell no room for do something wrong, which u can test just by puttin ur wrist down on mousepad and try to move mouse to left, and then to the right)
This is wrist anatomy, u just dont have space ur wrist can move to the right side to really do any decent flicks to the right side.
It’s how your wrist is positioned with the mouse. If you use your arm more you’ll be able to flick right without working against your wrist.
I got a full vertical mouse because I use my computer for both work and games so my wrist was becoming painful from the position. Vertical mice make you use your arm more but also angle your wrist in a way that bends more naturally (forward and back).
You could look up j-tech vertical mice. They’re super cheap (20-30usd) and they’re really comfortable (right handed only rn).
That is true, your elbow can contract making it move a little more, unlike the other side where it will break the joint if you fling it too hard.
True tho, but only if u ONLY ARM aiming, which is not the case for most of the ppl.
If u aim only with ur arm u can be good with both types of flics, but u need super low sens for arm aiming(like jjonak 800 *2)
If u playing something highter flicks with arm used only for movement, and after that u aim/flick with ur wrist. I’mk playing for example on 800 *3.5 and i still aiming-flicking with my wrist, and arm flicks used to move my camera around.
My vertical mouse makes it comfortable using arm and wrist, but it also comes with a dpi button. It’s super comfy
I dont know about these, but i believe they’re not for gaming, so they dont have a good sensors and stuff if u wonna go full competitive.
Btw there’s a top 500 tracer player zerrgyy, u can search his montages on youtube (ZERGGY MONTAGE, not ZERG, but ZERGGY) he is very good with both types of flicking aswell i believe. So anything can work if u wonna i guess ![]()
I’ve never been a competitive gamer, but I want my wrist as happy as possible and the regular mouse shape was too much pain and couldn’t kick the habit of using my wrist too much. The brain can be trained easily, but the wrist cannot be easily fixed when damaged.
I can flick better to my left than right for some reason. I use a palm grip if you’re wondering.
Flicking is a muscle memory. Train that muscle, get better at it
Yea totally, same happens to me,I even try to stay on the right side of the map so I would have more opportunities to flick to the left.
