Genuinely don’t understand how they get to this elo being this bad
I trained them myself.
It’s always bad on the weekend. At this point you should feel something is wrong if you get teammates that are good at the game on a Friday.
Have you seen the heroes in the support roster?
Junes players are rolling DPS players without a critical hit multiplier. I do not believe the hero design is the problem.
It’s too early in the morning for trolling Buddha
it’s not the juno rolling me it’s the 700 health speed boosted 25% headshot reduction 10% dps passive tank
I dont think its the player’s fault being put in a game where they dont belong nor is it tied to any role. Widening ranks in each match with rank that doesn’t even remotely measure your skill then the stomp matches will always be a problem in OW.
Real issue is how much worse will it get and at what point do the remaining players give up on OW.
Not to be a Debbie Downer, but if these developers are actually loco enough to let us have 5v5 AND 6v6, it can get worse. A lot worse.
It’s really in everyone’s best interest if they just pick one. They are only threading this needle because of Mahvel, baby, Mahvel. Once that dies down, let’s be real, 6v6 ain’t going to stick around. Or, I mean, maybe it does. But then 5v5 is getting taken out back.
I ask myself the same thing when I see the genji player solo dive the entire enemy team while we are in spawn.
Obviously the genji will spam “I need healing” afterwards.
“How are DPS-players that bad?” I wonder.
Because you refuse to heal them while they are taking space?
It has always been this way, supports boosted to infinity and beyond
It’s not. I’m a support main. Both Ana and Kiriko also feel really good. The whole rooster feels good, tbh.
I’m a little worried about this myself. IMO, 5v5 is the better option. More play making for each role and more fast paced.
Ana and Bap, tbh. They deadass boost people
I dont even see how 6v6 will fix anything in OW outside of lessening the pressure on solo tank. Tank is fundamentally a unfun role and splitting the role in 2 means reducing their impact by half with nerfs making it even less fun lol. I imagine OP will complain more in 6v6 when the supports have to heal an additional tank hahaha.
Rq 2-2-2 won’t be sustainable, if you go open q you still will have to solo tank quite a bit at times.
The advantage is everything dies.quick once fight happens and you can carry fights and you are not locked to the role.
The ideal solution would be hybrid q that provides supports on both teams.
The latest iteration of rank in OW1 was already the best version, sustainable or not. RQ 2-2-2 with individual ranks for each role makes sure that each team has roughly the same composition and doesn’t force players into roles they don’t want to play. The queues are going to be long though lol.
i’ll sit in queue for 20 mins on dps if it means i don’t have to play against supertanks
im already doing it anyways so nothing will change
Maybe you are willing but most people will not wait that long for a match if other games have 1min queues. At the tail end of OW1 the queues in plat/diamond was roughly 20mins for DPS, 12mins for support and 1min for tank lol.
If OW goes 6v6 they need to address queue times if they continue 5v5 they need to address the gaming experience. I don’t see Blizzard solving this any time soon or ever honestly.
Ya, dividing the player base will not be a good strategy at this point when it is dwindling.
I predict that they will go 6v6 and that they will drop RoleQueue - at least in this form. There is no way they can run a hard 2-2-2 with two tanks, as there are too few players willing to play tank.
Let’s see how their tests go. I would be in favor of the 1-1-1 with the rest of the roles open. Doing it this way, you can just OQ-match people so there will be no tank queue messing it all up.
Relying on a hard tank population is impossible at this point, and that is also the reason why they are doing something else. It is not even possible to do in the current 5v5 format.
