I’ve really enjoyed the subset of games with currency in the match, however a number of them will get copied, and a cheat will get added in. I’ve seen things like If Mercy uses voice line and holds ult, give 1,000,000 points (where 25 gets a 1% damage buff), or Player Slot 0 (Host usually) Holds ult in spawn, gets 1000 currency/second.
What I currently have to do is look at a lobby, save the settings (I use the name Checkout) and go through the entire thing to look for ‘rules’ that just are hidden cheats. See imgur album (/a/) 0EEKYQg (I’m quiet, so don’t have direct link permissions)
This leads me to my next topic, Version info. If a mode is copied and modified, we should be able to see the tree of who made it, who modified it, and when it was last changed.
It’s getting really tiring to join in a game just for the host to have an unfair advantage, and to have someone steal your mode, corrupt it, and not give any credit.
