Before you call me stupid, I KNOW its quickplay but it shouldn’t be the case that after the first fight i can tell if we’re gonna trample them or they’ll trample us. In the lucky event, I may get a game in which it’s fair and its unknown who will win but very rare. Most of the time i will have one or two games where my team trample the other team then 4+ games of being purely trampled sometimes lasting for 8+ game and its so so so tiring. It wasn’t like this in Overwatch so why is it like this in OW2??? For reference i’ve been playing qp for nearly 2 hours and have been in back to back games of being trampled
BEFORE you start being toxic and screaming skill issue too, a lot of these games i have gotten potg and have had majority of kills and have changed the tides of battles with most of my plays (ults or plays allowing us to get to next point or make some sort of progress) and im not saying im perfect either i’ve probs made mistakes that could of cost us the game
Matchmaking is going through some changes this season, so report any issues you see, but don’t pretend like this same type of stuff wasn’t happening in Overwatch 1 as well.
I think it was like 2-3 days ago where I had the following two matches back to back:
1st match was Havana Attack. I played mercy and other support was Zen. My Zen never used discord or harmony orb once nor charge shot. Dude was trying to get kills and damage and remarkable used transcendence to heal when possible. Dude was so clearly new, it was painful. Near of the end of the match, I Jumped on mic (I almost never do) and coached him a bit on Zen’s basic abilities in a very kind “let’s me help you kind of way”. I gained a new friend. We won barely. For reference I had over 17K heal and this guy didn’t even break 2K. He said he only started playing last week, and it was his first time trying support. I have definitely over 2,500 hours on support role.
The very next match was Colosseo. I had on my team a High masters Mercy player and a Top 500 DPS Sojourn. I scrambled to try to play brig, and then Moira just to try to survive at the end. Because ultimately, the other team had just as good players and mirrored the sojourn/mercy tactic. We got our butts stomped.
My point is these two types of matches shouldn’t be happening. I do not deserve to be a paired up with complete new players nor freakin top 500 players whom I checked their profile.
The clown fest in qp is giving me extreme whiplash.
To find an actual balanced match in qp where you don’t get leavers is starting to become a rarity when it should be a constant.
It’s very sad they have sacrificed quality for quantity.
In season 3, people of all ranks are experience huge win and lose streaks. In Unrank Role Queue, I find myself getting put into backfill a lot more often than in the past, if I perform well in the last game regardless of whether I win or lose.
In the arcade I see many people with master challenger and grandmaster challenger titles on the enemy team… and I’m gold 4 lol. As expected me and my team get steamrolled almost everytime that happens, which is often. It doesn’t feel very fun.
I can’t play in QP now, lot’s of times we’re going against GM/T500 players just so a game can start but my team are all low level players… Comp sucks but I’d rather wait for a comp match than ever play qp now, because qp was pretty good until they decided they need matches instantly vs waiting a few minutes.
Yeah I don’t know, I keep getting these matches where the enemy has godly aim despite the fact I’m running a 75-80% lose rate since they “adjusted” the matchmaking this Tuesday I think it was.
I’m really hoping my MMR adjusts and puts me into easier matches so I don’t have to tryhard on Soldier or any of my other main dps heroes, but after 20+ matches I’m not noticing much of a change if any at the difficulty of the matches.
