The broken matchmaking, one-sided “stomp” games, sweaty, try-hard pre-made stacks being matched vs randoms…
The game since we got “Overwatch 2” (more like Overwatch -1) is the definition of anti fun and absolutely terrible experience for many. It’s not even close to the game i used to enjoy and have fun with.

I am getting a long break with season 3.
It is just unplayable. Played other games in the meantime and none felt so unrewarding like OW. You can be the best player of your team and it still won’t matter.

Yesterday, I had like 4-5 GM/top500 players just playing QP and I was like why are you here in the pleb mode and they were like, Comp is absolutely nonsense right now so we are just chilling in QP lmao

Comp is QP, QP is comp, MM is awful to reduce queue time, Activision-Blizzard-King is the new Ubisoft, Robert K. want to buy a new luxury yacht with your money.

Depending on the time and day in the past couple weeks (QP), I often ran into the same 4-6 GM+ players.
You kind of have to try in QP. A lot of people don’t really play to lose, but don’t want to play competitive. Even If I am not tryharding during a game, I will generally still swap for the sake of team comp .
Though, the queue times feel longer than they used to be. I think I had a couple of 4-5 minutes support queues around this time yesterday and 1-3 minutes during more peak times. Also plenty of games where getting a backfill sometimes took 3-5 minutes.

Compared to OW1 I rarely get one-sided matches in solo queue, it’s been decently balanced so far

I solo queued MT in OW1 for over 700 hours. Those things were all present then, too.

the team that has an orsia auto wins everytime or they lose all game n switch orsia last few min and auto win because it takes a full wow raid at this point to kill her

You don’t win or lose anything in QP… so no its not competitive…

And if you manage to have a 3 4 win streak. Theyll team you with bots and throwers.

Yes, when I win 2 or 3 consecutives games I start to panic because I know that after I will have to play 3 to 5 games with useless zombies on my team and will enjoy the awful defeat each time.
That make my dopamine rush less pleasant in the moment.

Unranked is great, WDYM? MH or QP RQ are working fine.
Competitive is the mode that is ultra destroyed and doesn’t have almost any Competitive elements. It works basically like QP but with no backfills and a more restrictive MMR … and longer matches.
Literally no advantage/pro to play Comp instead of QP lol.
Although matchmaking is probably a bit worse now and definitely needs some improvement, I don’t see so much difference from OW1 either on the long run.
Nothing so apocalyptic as some people describe in this forum.
