Getting tanks who just feed all match and rage in the match chat, like bruh why did this game go free to play. Why am I getting queued with these people who are literally new to the game?

I hear you on the new player part. A new player shouldn’t be in any of my games, on my team or against it unless they’re in a stack (and even then i wish I could opt in to a solo queue).
The only time it doesn’t become an issue is when they announce that they’re new. Generally the team rallies around the new player and we try to get them a win. Everyone else just looks like a smurf and every other game somebody’s getting flamed.
EDIT:
If I may play devil’s advocate, I will say there is no end to the people that say a tank is feeding or tank diff when it’s several members of the team that have no idea how to position or support the team. It’s primarily why I’ve just been playing support lately.

Yeah when they’re in a 10 minute match and they did less than 1k heals/damage, like, why is that person in my match lol it’s crazy how random it truly is in QP.

Should be a newcomer playlist of some sort tho, like I get it but at the same time it’s definitely degrading the quality of matches.
Matchmaking should be handling that, but it is what it is. I doubt it’s ever going to be fixed.

Blame the stubborn “fans” who won’t come back. Less players to work with means the Matchmaker gives you what you get
Console Overwatch 2 in a nut shell, I’m pretty sure the switch shares the same servers with Xbox and PS which easily makes things so much worse.

Oh hell, that explains it yes. I first played original Overwatch on PS4 and dear god it was a bad idea. Haha. PS5 and Xbox Series X have come a long way though which is cool.
It’s mostly good times but recently at the second half of season 6 QP match quality has gone down so much. Would rather sweat in masters then have a guy who instalocks Roadhog in QP and plays into an Orisa without switching.
