Qp hacked is better, more fun, please extend it

More fun
Faster matches
Less Ultimate spam
Feels more rewarding, even if you lose.
Less counterswaping
Matchmaking feels less impactful vs rigged games, because how quick match ends, so you do need to endure full time rigged game that you get stomped or vs aimboters.
Having a lot of fun.

Would be great if you extend it on competitive too.

Thank You.

Stick it in the arcade, next to total mayhem where it belongs.

Might need to be a tad more subtle to farm interactions. Nice try though so have this reply. :+1:

No. It is much better this way. Regular QP should go to arcade. This HAcked QP must be permanent.

End it please. it is so damn boring

Yeah, lets they make it permanent. I want to end my gaming addiction, and this wont be Overwatch anyway

“QUICK” play should be QUICK play max 5-10 mins, not 20-30 min.

Oh go away. It’s one of the worst things they’ve added to the game since OW2 launched. It’s impressively awful.

I know that no dev will see this but here is what i like about it.

The solo cap speed. Amazing. Especially if they want people to feel like they have more individual impact. Had an enemy team at 99 on flashpoint when we flipped it. One dps flanked and almost flipped it back, my heart was racing to touch. Normally that random backcapper is like “o well, by the time they flip it we will have won the teamfight and we just steamroll them”

This applies for hybrid, control, and flash point.

The team cap rate, no good. Way to fast for smart or counterplay. Honestly i think it should be treated like push. 1 person or 5 cap the same. Think it adds a good dynamic.

Tickrates: not a fan, especially on flashpoint. Not sure any increase is needed.

Escort/hybrid: i wouldnt mind seeing an increase in payload speed here but definitely not as fast as this weekend. Payload princess is not a fun game dynamic. 1 or 3 should not matter and rarely if ever does in pub games. Pick a speed and treat it like push. 1 on to move it.

Push: i didnt get alot of these but it felt fine. Less noticeable then all the other modes i thought. So less clock time. Little more speed?

Overall had no problem with something like this for the weekend. Always like april fools day. And you dont know what will stick lile dva remech kills.

Give it more speed and most of the roster won’t be able to keep up with the bot during OT. xD

Nice expansive feedback though. If this was done in a separate mode I imagine more critical feedback like this would be present and less angry people who have been forced into this.

Its the wall that moves quicker though right? Not the bot? Like i said i think i only pulled maybe like 3 push maps in my rotations. And regardless it felt way less crazy then the impact in control or flaspoint etc…

Im neutral on the whole qp vs test server. Sucks if you really need your overwatch fix and hate this mode. But i see the devs argument, and if it was unplayable for me i would just play again monday. As a chill gamer I really cant relate to alot of the over the top feedback that became internet standard.

Btw i literally laughed at the ot thing like yeah makes sense which is why i ? The wall v bot

I have a lot of trouble finding any useful feedback through the big clump of angry people that they took away normal QP. The anger of this decision will also heavily influence in how much they like the game mode. Maybe not even a conscious decision, but if you are in a bad mood and play, odds are you will like it less. So then he question is, how valid is the feedback that you are able to find through all the non relevant information.

of course it is fun but yea it should be in the arcade. if it was i would play it once in a while since yea quicker and of course it woudl help in the play 15 arcade weekly thing

ill be happy to go back to normal tho

Yeah not sure if they are sending out surveys or what because otherwise no way to tell what was good and or bad. I mean honestly it could just be a test to see pure engagement numbers on whether they could do crazy things like this or if it has to be a test playlist… likely to get missed by most casuals.

It definitely shows that qp is the main/only mode for alot of people.

On the subconcious note i wonder if people would be less demoralized if they did play comp. Only because so many losses would be wins if it was run back on the attack/def. Assuming they dont just focus on the ones they could of won in qp which would probably happen.

Blizzard once again reinforcing the fact that the best way to enjoy Overwatch is to play less of it lol

I unironically agree with everything you said, except I don’t want it extended to competitive.

Specifically, loses don’t feel as bad because the game is over faster, instead of dragging out an inevitable loss.

lmao, that’s precisely why I enjoy Quicker Play, because games are faster, so I can grind the battle-pass & complete those stupid “weekly challenges” faster, which just feel like a chore.

Quicker Play is more fun, I’m enjoying it more than normal QP.

Now, it IS less chill and MUCH sweatier than normal QP (which is saying a lot these days), but the faster games means less rage when losing, faster progress on challenges, far fewer ult spamfests, less time spent being countered all game, less time sitting in spawn timers, and all the other reasons people are saying the like it.

I kind of like how winning a single team fight can secure you the first point on some maps (encourages people to take their first hero pick a bit more seriously). I like that the maps I don’t like are over quicker so I can move on to a map I DO like.

Yes, the mode is now much more stomp-or-be-stomped, but I’m down with that, as the games where I’m clearly going to get stomped are over quicker. I almost never leave games unless it’s an emergency, but faster games means people seem less likely to leave, since the loss will be faster.

I get the complaints, and people aren’t wrong for disliking it. But me personally, I think this is great, I wish the changes were permanent.

There it is again. Those factors are not what should be leading to core gameplay design changes.

Dailies/weeklies/battlepass grind - all of that can be tweaked outside of gameplay and rightfully should be.

As for “losses not feeling as bad” I’ll never understand that one. I don’t find anything particularly gratifying about seeing where my team positions and already knowing we’ve lost. The fact I’m proven right 99% of the time doesn’t make me feel any better about it.

Getting more bad games in than usual also isn’t really a metric I think benefits Overwatch. Another case where it doesn’t fix OW2’s problems, it just lessens the amount of time you have to deal with them.
