[QoL] Automatic "X hacked" voicelines for Sombra?

First off - because it cannot be repeated enough - can we get a glowing skull above hacked enemies, please?

Can hack effects on enemies be purple, and ones on friendlies be red?

What I’m suggesting here goes one step further: How about Sombra has some automatic voicelines for each enemy hacked? It could even deliver some cheesy jokes in some cases, like

  • “Genji hacked - let’s see you jump around now”
  • “Lucio hacked - I never really liked EDM”

I suggest this because it would reduce microphone “demand”, it would help with teammates who aren’t in the voicechannel (or don’t speak my language), and the voice coming from the character is extra information (direction, proximity)

I can see a few arguments coming already, so I’ll get ahead of those:

  • "That would require a lot of voicework, continuously as well for new heroes"
      Well, yeah. Most things do. I can still ask for it nicely :)
  • "It would create "clutter" in the soundscape"
      A reasonable concern, or it would be - except most Sombra enthusiasts already use their mics to call out nearly every hack anyway. It has an 8-second cooldown and is a very important piece of information that deserves to be heard
  • "If you aren't willing to use your mic, why play Sombra in the first place? It is up to the player to call out hacks"
      Sure, it is also up to players to
      • call out snipers
      • warn of enemies showing up
      • warn of an enemy behind
      • ask for help if they're in trouble
      • let the team know if the barrier is failing
      Interesting, nobody complains when these callouts are done for them. They call it "blizzard polish" and grow to expect it from other games. Besides, just because Sombra does hack callouts for me, doesn't mean I'll stop using my mic altogether
  • "It wouldn't be much use anyway. A person on voice draws more attention"
      This one I can agree with, maybe, because I see that Symmetra has several audio and visual indicators for her teleporter, and nobody uses it, even obvious ones like rolling out of spawn.
