We all pretty much know that had the PVE and lore continued it was higly likely that Reinhardt would’ve died, and im not emotionally prepared to lose our most honourable crusader 
, so right now he gets to keep being alive, frozen in time waiting…

I could see him having a moment where it seems like he’s gonna meet the same end as Balderich, only for Brigitte and a few other members of Overwatch show up and save/help him.
Could’ve been really cool to see

His character arc would have ended with him sacrificing himself to save one or more Omnics - probably Bastion.
At least that’s the direction the story was going.

I was actually very pleased with the first 3 pve missions, I assumed they would improve on the gameplay repetition and it set up quite well for the lore, especially the Toronto mission with the forced helmet things

Yeah i liked them too, coming with the understanding they’d be released episodically and I’d be able to go back and replay the entire story every time a new mission pack dropped.
But hey, the masses disagreed. People seemed to have this weird notion that a Story Mode should be something they’d want to play through every day. Doesn’t make much sense to me, but whatever.

I think they should shift the lore into the battlepasses rather than whatever the hell we have right now. Sure collabs are good and stuff but I think with such a lore rich game having bps that can express the lore would be a good way to start. Either through like data entries you unlock at every 10 levels regardless of pass or doing theme like skins for different areas of the world.
Not really a blessing in disguise because they still broke alot of promises with the PVE still and at any point if the old PVE from Archives will ever be back someday.

it’s a shame the free underworld mission soured a lot of people on getting the rest.

Which is weird because Underworld was better than 2/3 of the OW1 Archives missions. It was fine.

TRUE. I was a smidge happy when the DLC was cancelled because it means Reinhardt can live for a while longer.
You didn’t like the underworld mission? I thought it looked better than the actual paid missions. I can’t compare how they played because I didn’t buy Overwatch’s BS PVE missions.

I like it’s more varied hero choices over some of the other pve modes. Fighting the new null sector units was fine, but it needed a little ironing out on some areas for a better flow imo.
I didn’t mind it. I put it above storm rising in some aspects. I just remember a lot of technical issues (dcs, bugged progress etc) at the time drove a few people away from even playing it. Plus the news of them cancelling modes back in season 4 didn’t help season 6 win much favours.
If the invasion season dropped for season 2 I bet optics would’ve been better.
It’s baffling why they haven’t brought it or archives back, but that’s another whole can of worms.

Then never ask for a hero to be deleted ever.
Have I ever done that? I’ve been pretty critical about people who wish heroes were deleted and nerfed just because they don’t like the heroes.
If you did I would have added again.
Ever as in never ever.
Imagine ow2 if they spent all the time doing something useful for the PVP (main selling point of the game) instead of releasing ow2 as it did.

its not and honestly aaron should of gotten fired over the lies the game has become the worst rated on steam i doubt pink mercy changed much…aaron keller changed the game into basically a dumpster found game
