Is no one going to mention that a lot of us paid extra for the PvE portion of the game, which obviously is cancelled. Yet, here we are during our first PvE oriented event and yet we’re being made to pay for missions. Someone please explain to me how this makes any sense whatsoever. Is there any form of a refund? Beyond livid for having to deal with this entire experience.
Do not worry about it is my advice.
No money in this world can teach you a lesson you learned just now for only 40$.
- Do not preorder
- Do not buy things in a free game if you consider it an investment
- Do not give money to Blizzard
- Do not trust the promises
- Do not be naive
I say - money well spent.
They’ve been extremely quiet about it, lol.
I’m on this forum, 24/7, constantly screaming at clouds about how predatory OW2’s monotization is. That said:
Is incorrect. What are you talking about? The watch point pack? PvE was not included in the bundle. You paid $40 for like… 2 skins and a BP. They were VERY clear about what was included, and PvE wasn’t it.
The Watchpoint Gibraltor pack was kind of heavily implied to include PvE from the way they spoke about it, and when misconceptions arose they did nothing to curtail that.
I mean, maybe? But I just had a look at the list of what was included in the pack, and they were very clear about its contents. This “heavily implied,” is just kind of… made up. They stated exactly what was in the pack and delivered. You have to read the label on the package and expect nothing more. If the marketing explicitly said PvE is also included, then I’d be like, “yeah you’re right,” but that is not the case.
I could get all the bundles/battle passes for free with WoW gold and bnet balance, but I continue to refuse to support their new garbage business model.
Won’t be buying the 3 story mission consolation prize after waiting years for a legit OW PvE system.
I’ll probably download the game on Steam just to leave a negative review. That’s all OW deserves at this point after betraying their players in OW2.
The way they talked around both subjects led to a pretty easy link between ‘supporting overwatch 2 pve’ and ‘paying for overwatch 2 pve’.
It could have ben accidental, but I’ve seen too many people with the same complaint as op to give them benefit of the doubt.
