Get rid of stadium. So just get half your population even more angry and maybe even quit. You’re a genius. Oh and make it so the team multiplayer video game punished players who play with friends. Genius. 
Meh, Arcade and Custom games are already splitting the playerbase as it is. I don’t think Stadium makes much of a difference. If there is a lot of players hopping onto Stadium, it’s probably because it’s more fun.

I quit OW2 and came back to play Stadium. Many new players are the same way. Stadium brought new players in. I am an OW1 OG as well. If the player base prefers Stadium let them play that

Had a duo on the team yesterday, and one of them was DPS. 1 elim and around 8 deaths the first round as Widow. And when we asked them if they could try something different, their duo said we needed Widow. I mean yeah, if the Widow was actually doing anything. |:

Now I can tell what kind of player base they are catering too.
I’m so confused. Putting in solo-q would be splitting every queue into 2 queues and so splitting the player-base twice as much as they do now.

That’s a good reason. Stadium isn’t a good reason. Solo queue improves matchmaking.
It is a very good reason.
This does not change just because you don’t like the mode.
I don’t disagree that putting up solo-qs would be nice to have, but I think you are working against yourself here.
A better solution would be to do role-matching in QP like they are supposed to do in comp. A tank+support will be matched against a tank+support. Currently that doesn’t happen at all in QP. In more than half my games I’m solo tank and the other tank is in a group.
