All settings the same but something has changed

Before patch: I pressed the push-to-talk button once and could speak in voice chat. I didn’t have to keep it pressed all the time. Pressed a second time and the microphone turned off

Now: It seems that for voice chat, the microphone only turns on if I keep the push-talk button constantly pressed. As soon as I release it, the microphone is muted.

Something broke, although teammates can now listen to silence more often

You were previously using mute toggle versus push to talk. Both settings are still available in the Settings > Controls menu.

  • VOICE CHAT: PUSH TO TALK
    only opens mic while pushing button
  • VOICE CHAT: TOGGLE MIC MUTE
    opens mic when pressed and stays open until pressing same keybind again to close
