Push to talk activates when it shouldn't

I have push to talk bound to G, and mute bound to M. Push to talk used to be bound to Mouse5 but hasn’t been for a long time. However, randomly (and I mean randomly) my Mouse5 will activate my mic in-game as if it were a push to talk button, which it definitely is not.

I have tried rebinding keys over and over but the issue persists. Using M to mute does not prevent Mouse5 from activating my mic either.

To confirm, you have double checked your mouse shortcut keybindings on your mouse driver software to ensure there is no discrepancy correct? Also double check Overwatch key bindings for each specific hero, making a change on your master controls may not adjust for individual heroes with unique settings.

None of my heroes have a unique key binding for push-to-talk and i don’t have any shortcut keybindings on my mouse software (I wouldn’t even know how to set these). My mouse is a Logitech G402

Did you try resetting all settings?

yes, i have tried that.

I just cleared all bindings for push to talk, but I doubt that will help

I meant with the “Reset settings” button, which would include all keybinds for all heroes.

that worked, thankss
