Push perks oversight

I think they forgot to adjust the exp rates for qp where Push is 2 minutes shorter since you unlock major perks absurdly late in the match

It could be intentional. I mean, they removed Clash because it was “too fast” and kept Push which can be ended just as fast. So???

I think push is even worse than clash in this regard. If they take 2 points in the first few minutes of clash you just have to win 2 fights where you’re at the advantage to make things even. In push if they get the checkpoint 2 minutes in, it’s over and you’re in do nothing simulator for the rest of the clock

I usually pick up my first perks pretty fast, faster than most, I think.

I don’t really notice my second perks coming late in Push, though. Sometimes they do take a while to come on line.

They didn’t remove clash for being too fast, they removed it for not being a competitive game mode. If teams are losing the last point; they would get rolled in any other mode anyways. The last point is so heavily defender favoured, it’s a free cap for most defending teams. And gives the same 1 point any other objective of the map does, while being so much easier.

Might as well remove everything outside of payload and hybrid in that case. Tee hee.

That’s WHY I loved it. Saves us time on mismatched games.

The other modes are actually fair tho, even if some people don’t like them. The winning team in clash can win their closest point with a massive advantage 3 times. And never once need to push onto the enemies side, only winning the middle point a single time. That would be like winning a push map while only fighting on your own side, that doesn’t happen.

Do not get me wrong, the mode was poorly designed, but it was also pretty fun. And I dislike when they remove content, even bad content. Variety is the spice of life.

Unfortunately the bad mode is still in qp. At least they removed it from competitive.
