Maps are too big and QP players don’t intuitively understand to NOT TRICKLE in.
There’s just a lot of walking (more than 2CP maps) and lacks any coordination, especially now that we have 5v5 with doom tanks that just dive in…

The game matchmaking is based on a skill system, so this people will be placed roughly with people on the same level of them in quickplay/arcade.
For competitive the situation is even better.
But will need time to set the skill system for all this new players.
Bad players isn’t something developers must solve with balancing or something similar.
It’s not just bad players. Maps are just way too big. And disagreed, it’s the developers job to make the map intuitive.
Maps aren’t big for good players.
Simple for good players isn’t a problem learn the maps.
Maps like this will be simple an additional “skill test”.
skill is largely irrelevant to the map size complaint
You are wrong, game awareness, learning the projectile trajectories and the routes and flow of the maps are very important skills in a game want to be competitive.
If a players lack in this skills is only a player problem.
You’re misunderstanding. My complaint about map size being too big is largely irrelevant to skill.
Map size and knowing how to play push maps are two separate complaints I listed.
This is why i’m saying you are wrong.
People with better skills don’t have problem with map size.
Is very simple players don’t have this skills will stay in the rank they belong.
Had one push game tonight that finally felt really good. We be barely won, neither team made it to their first checkpoint. Both teams held position well. Waited for teammates. Taxied Kiriko. Etc. Was a lot of fun and was really suspenseful right up to the last fight. Both sides threw out GGs.
Absolutely a stupid take.
New maps are way too big.
If you learn to die less, you won’t be walking as often.
This is a player issue, not a gamemode issue.
He is a dive hero?? Do you expect him to just slow push like a Rein with a shield? The problem isn’t the Doom dive, it’s the team ignoring him and not following up on the dive.
Seems you can’t accept the situation.
Not a real problem, skill system will not care of this.
Skill system will balance them.
Placing bad players in the rank they belong.
Agreed, push just seems like a huge waste of my time that belongs in arcade only
Its not about skill, winning or losing.
New maps are just annoyingly big.
Its like playing Paris without chokes
I’m sure you’ve never died once in a push map /s
Blaming players is like designing a complicated smartphone and saying “it’s just user error, my design is perfect”
You’re misunderstanding. Talking about a doom that dives in while other 4 team are still walking from spawn.
Instead is only about skills.
Bad players lack of skills to adapt to bigger maps.
Skill system will solve the problem.
TBH, it feels like it was designed around 6v6. Because when they first had a thing at Blizzcon for it. I am pretty sure that new mode was played by 6 players on each time.
eitherway. I think it is a good mode.
Look at the other posts. People are complaining are too big. It’s not just me.
Saying “you’re just bad at it, good players love the size of the maps” is a stupid take.
Done talking to you. Waste of my time.
