The new mode Push has potential, but right now it feels like walking/trickling/staggering simulator. It makes me never want to play any hero that isn’t super mobile, because the walk back to the fight is so long. Getting sent to spawn in Push as Zen/Bap/Ana means the next 30 seconds will be uneventful, plus, god forbid, there’s a Sombra spawn camping you.
The spawns need fixed. It’s weird to me that your team can push the robot 50+ meters into the enemy’s territory and you’re still spawning in the original spawn room.
Push has not been well-received by the community, and I think the lack of excitement is a big reason. I don’t play this game to walk around, Blizzard, please speed up this mode.
Yes. Most games where one team can’t quite push to the end but still has advantage end up being walking simulators with Robot running back and forth through half the map.
You do not have to push the bot until the end to win. Most high level player only push it as far as getting the bot camp at an advantage position they can hold.
Push is really bad - it doesn’t feel competitive - it feels like a battle of mental attrition - with the added caveat of a horrible end game which leaves too much to chance.
I actually like the push maps a lot. They’re really pretty I think. I don’t like the enough to want to spend half the game strolling back from spawn though
I can agree but it needs a hell of a lot of more tweeking - not every mode needs to take 100 years - maybe it could be more dynamic and sped up x2 - better spawns - etc
I hope they change it so that when the robot is left unattended for 5-10 seconds it starts walking back to the center (much like payload slowly rolls backward). I think that would fix, or at least help the problem of walking back and forth with the robot.
Every game mode is a walking, trickling, staggering simulator for 95% of the player base. Why? Because most people are willingly bad at PVP games and they genuinely don’t care.
I like Push and the only time I ever see anyone complain about it is just on these forums which as we all know doesn’t even represent 1% of the possible player base at this point.
