Push doesn't work

I’d reather have volskaya, rialto, anubis, even hanamura or horizon lunary than this. All the push maps are bad with Colosseo being the worst map in the game’s history

It plays badly and in an environment with zero teamwork and players who dont’ know what they are doing it’s awful. The first team to get a lead wins, and the rest of the match is just marking time.

Maybe it’s different for other players. For me, it’s a dead loss so far and really no fun at all compared to the content they gutted

Personally, it should go to the arcade and that is where it should die along with Capture The Flag and other terribly made modes.

I don’t mind push. But I feel the timer is set too long.

The push mode is horrible for low level player but it gets better when you hit master gm+
It’s only designed for coordinated team.

I like the match just drags when its a stomp tho. Would be better with a shorter timer

Yeah, right. Those people are making up the majority of paying customers and should be the target audience to balance the game around, right? RIGHT?

Yeah i don’t like it either tbh, in low ranks it just sucks because everyone is doing their own thing and never even groups up even if you tell them to.

And i’m saying this as someone who mainly plays dps, but ofc it’s annoying in all the other roles too…

I guess i’m more okay with it tho than 2cp because that mode was just awful :face_vomiting:

Wild idea here but what if I just like chilling in QP and simply dislike the game mode for what it is?

Everything the marketing for Overwatch promised, “An inclusive, balanced objective and team based ability shooter game for wide audiences with comic graphics and a fun environment.” is what ironically OW2 is not anymore. Well, it still has comic graphics - that’s it.

The game itself became a shallow husk of itself, a soulless cashgrab tailored towards elitist kids that want to be “pro” gamers and end up mentally violated and thrown away like xQc if they are lucky.

I’m not them, but that didn’t sound like they were defending it to me. If anything, that just highlights how stupid Push is in the first place. Call it a team game all you want, we’re all aware that the majority of the playerbase doesn’t coordinate enough lol OW, 1 or 2, has always been nothing more than TDM with objectives for the majority of players lol

Wrong. In Overwatch 1 you had a HUGE impact if you were a team oriented Tank or Support, or better yet FLEX player knowing all characters and their kits. Especially in Quickplay modes you could dictate and dominate gameflow with smart plays and minimalistic comms/pings. That is not the case anymore in OW2, and if you (as a solo player) hit a wall in form of a communicating team in competitive you IMMEDIATELY notice and get stomped. Yes, you also could get stomped like that in OW1, however it took a bit more than two seconds in that game.

I agree with your entire thread except for Colosseo being the worst map. It’s actually the only one I find pretty decent but I wouldn’t mind it being removed along the entire Push mode.

I’m usually against removing content from the game but ever since I lost my favorite mode (2CP), I stopped caring…

My main beef is the respawn locations. If I am the first or last to die I am doomed to regroup just as they lose the next team fight. Especially on heroes like zen who have no mobility.

Prime example of “this game/company turns everyone into a misanthrope” - you became the opposite of what makes you happy because THEY took something away from you, making YOU promote taking things away now.

Overwatch brings out the worst in people.
“Overwatch” may be replacable with “ActivisionBlizzard” though.

Especially for those games where the other team has made it well into your territory and it is just bouncing around on your side of the map back and forth. After too long of that I just miss a lot more healing shots to get it over with. It’s obvious who is going to win anyway. It gets pretty boring after a few minutes.

This is something that’s always annoyed me. IMO, if you haven’t even left the spawnroom yet when the spawn changes, you should just be teleported to the new spawn room. Regardless of mode. But if you leave and try to go back in, no teleport.

There’s something about colloseo in particular that I hate.

The Toronto map is probably the push map I like the best. Though I’m not a huge fan of the mode in general.

Remember to throw some games to get the “stand on the train and get x kills” challenge…

Even the forward spawn is way too far away from the action. You respawn and your teammates are a point in the distance. I just wait until they all die rather than walk all that way and miss the fight.
