then 19hours ban? wtf?
Iirc in ow1 you wouldn’t get penalized for leaving and rejoining. Yesterday I dced and rejoined but still got a 15 minute penalty after the match ended so I guess it’s been changed? I also saw a leaver penalty on my rank update so 
For a 19hr ban, you were kicked more than twice. It gets longer every game you drop out of.
Unless they changed it and instantly give long bans.

Disregarding the update applying bit, you’d still have a ban if you aren’t rejoining. And it will get longer and longer until you’re season banned.
DCs happen, but if it happens often, you might want to check your internet connection.
I only loss connection to the overwatch server but not other applications.
The dumbest thing is that it count I repeatedly leave the game.
It is only one game.

I don’t get it either, the game is not super stable, and I have been kicked a few times in a game. I always try to get back in immediately, sometimes I make it, sometimes I don’t. Getting the time penalty though is so stupid, also because it seems to effect the rank change at the end. This is terrible, especially if you have no control over it.
Seems that way, i got season banned last season even though i rejoined every time, except a couple of times when the game crashed at the beginning of the match and shuts down in 10 sec. Last game i rejoined in <1 min and we won, still got banned. Didn’t even get a 15min penalty in years of ow1.
