Pulse bomb equal to Widow's kiss

The excuse to nerf pulse bomb was because it could stick to tanks easier, now Widowmaker’s crits do the same amount of damage as an ultimate. I disagree with the bomb nerf because ults should be strong after having to charge them. If you think of it Soldier and McCree’s ults lock-on to heroes and it’s fair because they’re ults. So when Tracer kills one tank it gets nerfed after ages of being the same while other dps heroes kill half the team and that’s fine. Plus bomb doesn’t combo with grav the same meanwhile Hanzo is pressing a button in games to team kill.

Yea well tracer gets her ult so fast that it’s almost like a third ability on a long cooldown

Ur point

Why does everyone act like pulse bomb is single target. It ain’t. It’s aoe.

If they buff the damage again, they should nerf the ult charge. It’s basically a third ability with how fast it charges.

This ^ attach it to hero that everyone groups around and watch the party start.

I think many Tracer players would prefer this.

Ultimates are supposed to be high impact things to think about when to use to impact the game IMO.

With how pathetic and fast charging Tracer’s ultimate is now, it’s basically just a toss away ability in 90% of the situations. Feels really bad for an ultimate.

I am a Rein main, and tracer’s ult never bothered me. If you turn it away from your team and are being healed, you already don’t die so I don’t see the point of the nerf

No the nerf was because it could oneshot Orisa and Zarya and did way too much damage to heroes like Rein.

It wasn’t that bad, I almost never died from it as rein. You just have to be able to turn and use a shield. It was one of the ult I was always least worried about

Edit: Use Orisa’s ability to counter it

Tracer’s base kit has enough impact that fitting her with a low impact ult is fine. Just like Widow.

Isn’t that the new “click on her head”? “just turn and shield”. It still oneshot Zarya and Orisa so it doesn’t exactly matter if you died to it as Rein even though it did do a ton of damage to him.

It’s almost as if Orisa and Zarya didn’t already have abilities that could counteract the pulse bomb so that they survive the explosion, like maybe a bubble or fortify… Oh. Wait.

or maybe it’s because the devs decided it was because it could oneshot them without it. She wasn’t supposed to be able to oneshot tanks. It doesn’t matter that they can block it occasionally she wasn’t supposed to do it at all ever. Maybe I’m missing something but I believe you can no longer oneshot tanks.

Seriously.

I was in a match in competitive where our Tracer went to stick the enemy Zen, absolutely flopped and their McCree, Mercy, and Hanzo all backed up into it and died.

It’s a really strong ultimate that charges quickly. The damage nerf was fine, the main issue was how fast she could get it and just delete tanks effortlessly or just stick it to a tank and have it blow up and kill supports near them.

So mcree can one shot multiple tanks, but tracer can’t kill one?

People don’t like having to manage their abilities and counter play. They like playing heroes that require little mechanical skill and not dying to players who out play that. Welcome to Overwatch!

Her ult is just a press of a button and now it is guaranteed bar bugs which should be fixed going to explode with essentially no danger to herself. McCree has to stand there for a long time to charge enough to kill a tank.

an instantaneous activation vs a very long and very dangerous channel and his ult can easily be blocked by terrain.

Mccree is more likely to get himself 1-shot using his ult than a single tank

She has to run into the middle of the enemy team where multiple stuns could occur and leave her in her ult
