‼ PTR Patch Note Expectations

What do you expect to see in the patch notes? Do you have speculations?

We’ve had a hint of Torbjorn and Pharah tweaks, what else do you think will show up? A new character possibly? New map? New event?

I’d like to read your thoughts on the subject. Feel free to share! (Keep it civil!)

Pharah tweak, info on torb, potentially a hog tweak, other tweaks to LFG/social system or something unrelated to balance.

So, we know Pharah changes.
Also want to see the following;

  • Torb Rework.
  • Symmetra 3.0 Buffs.
  • Mercy either buff or rework announcement. (?)
  • Sombra Tweaks.
  • Lúcio Buff. (?)
  • Hanzo Nerfs.
  • Brigitte Changes.

All the shtuff I want off of the top of my head.

Hanzo E nerf. There’s no reason I should be able to jump down behind a Hanzo as Brigette unnoticed, shield slam him off guard, flail into him. Then have him instantly delete me with E key.

pharah to become overpowered cuz its probably a buff or rework.

Actually, I think that’s what held the patch back. I think there were bugs with his new iteration they needed to fix before pushing to PTR. He was effectively broken, hence why they couldn’t release it.

I could be wrong though. Wouldn’t be the first time.

or it could be blizzard being incompetent. Thats way more likely, they held the rework back because of all the manpower going into owl, they couldnt meet their schedule.

I demand a stats and tips system on par with what I was getting from Pursuit.

Didn’t Jeff mentioned they should drop Dev update this week? If they wont drop it today then next week tuesday, maybe?

As for PTR drop Phara tweak: now her splash have double radious. Also specialy for consoles No limit is back to be standard mode since there is no point to play anyone else than Phara… maybe Mercy.
Torb rework will be Molten Core under E and his new ult being CC stun around him. He gives armor passively.

Predictions:

Pharah changes:
Laser Guided Rockets
Must aim a laser to Rocket destination. Can utilize targeting feature to, “curve,” rocket trajectory.
Faster flight mobility, lower flight duration and can only recharge fuel after 1 second of no flight.

Torbjörn’s changes
Turret auto upgrades once deployed. Can use hammer to speed up upgrade and repair.
Relocate turret by pressing interact key near turret to carry it. Torbjörn moves at 60% speed and is somewhat shielded by turret. Turret can still fire while being carried. Press key again to drop turret.
Molten core
No longer needs to reload

Realistically?

Spelling/grammar errors, stuff to be filled out later, and mild disappointment.

I doubt any of this would be in the next PTR seeing as this game only gets major updates once in a blue moon, but I’d like to see:

  • A much more developed in-game stats/match history feature.
  • The Pharah changes.
  • Information on the Torb rework.
  • Changes to the LFG system & potentially a guilds system of sorts.

What do I expect? Probably just an array of bugs that inevitably make it to live or something. I hope not. I saw a thread earlier saying that the next dev update is probably a ‘make or break’ for a lot of people.
