Rein moves significantly faster add him with Lucio. His anti cc increase. Zaryas buff. Rein zarya will come back.

Orisa can place another barrier still by the time her first one melts.
I can actually play other dps. I literally quit the game the second role q went live. My ability to click heads became useless with shields and immense healing. I could get slight value I mean barely out of Ashe. I had to work at least three times as hard to make her work. Shield nerf is a great change. Love the rein buff too.
Who said anything about one-tricking?
if you’re not one-tricking then why worry about it? just play another hero for a season. it’s more fun swapping tanks each season anyway in my opinion. you’ll probably find the variety keeps the game from getting as stale

Bastion will be much easier to deal with. Barrier against bastion never worked, bastion will always melt your barrier before you melt his. You kill bastion by using abilities like defence matrix, deflect, or poke damage behind walls. Since bastion’s team has less barrier hp now, it should be easier.

All they need is Hanzo and you’re dead in 4secs. Then widow picks everyone else. It doesn’t matter how fast you are. Or if you’re flashing to keep it up Diamond widows have no problem picking people then.

Tanks will become dps, who are harder to kill: heroes with armor and extra health and abilities to stay alive longer.(no roles any more)
There is no use for other players to stay behind tank(or work with them) anymore with almost no shields(it is saver to use the surroundings for cover instead of the tank with shields that are gone when someone sneezes)
And rein doesnt need lucio any more

I dont wanna be mean (ok, maybe a bit) but you seem to be a gold dps player. Let me elaborate. Currently rein has 2000 shields and if you keep it up and press W you move 50% speed, lets say your shield takes 400dps so you can move for 5seconds. You move 5s x 0.5 the distance you could walk without a shield. So effectively 2.5s. When the update goes live you have 1600 shield, receiving 400dps you can move 4seconds. You movement speed will be 0.75 instead of 0.5 so you move 3seconds worth of non shield distance. So it is a net gain for reins. I mean I understand how a pleb cant understand this, but it is a huge net gain for reins and make them more effective controlling space. Also he gained more knockback resistance, so the area covered cant be countered as easily with boops. Also armor nerf is being reverted so he will become stronger without hes shield. This change ofc requires you to understand how to play rein in order for it to be a gain, and bad reins will suffer even more. But I think its a good thing.

Yes, that is my old dps account that I’m signed in on mobile, Mr. Rude Private Profile. I have been a Diamond Rein tank since S1. It doesn’t matter that it’s objectively a net gain, friend, because Rein’s speed was never an issue. And if it was, you had Lucio. So if you gain a speed boost you never needed, and lose shield power that already was a huge issue, then that is a loss of utility and limits your playstyle unnecessarily.
PS: I’m not saying he’s not viable, in fact this helps my playstyle if anything, but it is objectively a bad change because it means there is only 1 correct way to play Rein and is going to make the game unpleasant when I’m not Rein.

Nice. Unfortunately there were not diamond rank in S1. Also in todays standards equal level of a diamond in S2 is now a trash maybe tops gold player.
Yeah ok mr. gold. I understand that you dont understand the game, but it doesent mean you need to yell that out loud. Or well, you can, but you know, someone might correct you. Also Ive seen diamond reins with as much knowledge how to plain rein so Im not surprised that you could be diamond.
There has been always 1 correct way to play rein and this change is a buff for that style. AFKing in a choke has never been a correct way to play rein, even tho it is a way to play him. Doesent still make it a good or correct way to play. I would avoid “correct” and rather use good anyways. If you like to play bad, then the correct way to play is to AFK in a choke and yell to your DPS to do something.

Lvl 60 = S1 Diamond Mr. Troll. I’ve been Diamond ever since and hit Masters a couple (though I am certainly no masters level player). Since the rest of your post is terrible attempts insults attempting to incorrectly insult my public profile, while you’re hiding behind private, I’ve flagged your post and think we’re done here.
Reaper still killing tanks in 3-5 seconds while sometimes being unpeelable and unhealable?
Also snipers are going to need a nerf to make the lack of shields not feel horrible.
Reaper does 50% less damage to armor in this patch. It took him like 3 shots just to remove my 100 armor on Rein. In the live version he would almost kill me with that.
That also means his lifesteal is garbage vs armor. Throw an armor pack on Rein and smash reaper.
I feel like all the dps characters can kill a tank if they can just shoot for 5 seconds at them freely.

Diamond widows are bots as are diamond hanzos. Rein zarya Lucio ana with tracer and another dps to be determined will come back.
I mean I could pick this ridiculous claim apart too, but you said it. We are done. No need to disprove trolls anymore.
