I’ve seen healer queues go as high as 6m but tanks has been instant for me. How bad is DPS?
edit: 7:48 for me just now.
I did my first role queue with DPS on the day it came out and it was instant.
The next day I did tank and support, tank was usually 30seconds to 1m, and support took me the longest at the most of 2m queue.
It’s the PTR, que time are always bad and people almost always instant lock the newest hero/changes. In this aspect it’s a very bad metric to see how things will go.
That said I can’t imagine the times be pretty. Bronze and Top 500 que times are already bad, with the numbers getting better the closer to the middle of the rankings you go. As bronze if you que at anything but USA peak hours your looking at 5-10 minute que times, longer if you 6 stack.
Thus I wouldn’t be surprised if role que keeps that same time limit, or makes it worse.

Haven’t played on dps or tank queues, but my healer queues have been very quick, so I’m kinda surprised to hear a number like 6+ minutes queue for heals, but then again, I suppose that is the estimated wait time.
Currently at 31min and counting… I’m a tank main and I thought I’d do some DPS placements. I thought wrong, now I’m just in it to see how long this goes.
i never needed more that 6 minutes on any role.
Do mind that ptr playerbase drops quickly after people got a taste of the changes

I’m averaging 7m+ at this point.
today it took 35 min for me, i eventually gave up tho
I hope none of you play Final Fantasy XIV, lol. The DPS queues are awful there, too.
