Anyone know what 1.60 PTR (250MB) is about? I’m trying to connect but it keeps saying it failed and is retrying
There’s also a 25mb pre-release download for the live game which is strange.
The PTR were just Bug Fixes nothing new. They closed it early this week when I remember correctly. The pre-release download is probably for the Anniversary Patch (1.60) which should fully release early next week.

They’re loading up a fat new patch where all heroes are now McCree with different colors of clothes. All those new models require lots of data and they wouldn’t wish to make the most balanced hero look bad. After all, the devs love McCree.
They’re also replacing the Anniversary Event with McCree Appreciation Month. 6 new Cree legendaries.

I’m fairly sure there was a new PTR update within the last 24 hours (still version 1.60 though).
I made a thread yesterday when mine updated.
If the live game is being updated to 1.60, it’s probably just bringing the PTR up to the same version as the pre-release patch for the live game… Maybe?
yeah i just got the download for it today and i play overwatch every day. So it came out today but doesn’t work?

Every hero now has Mc- appended to the front of their name.
McMcCree is indeed one of them.
Ultimate voice lines have been changed accordingly.

There’s no way of knowing what’s in it because the PTR servers are closed.
