Renouncement of Overwatch On the Basis of the Treatment of the Playerbase*
*This does not speak for everyone, of course, just the people who are leaving.

Dear Blizzard, we have decided to stop playing Overwatch on the basis of inferior treatment to the Overwatch League and the e-Sports scene.

It is obvious that you are devoting more resources and attention to this league than your loyal playerbase, some of which has been around for years and years.

We believe that we will receive better treatment and more acknowledgement from other game companies who care about their playerbases.

The matchmaking in this game has been an absolute joke.

The lore in this game is almost nonexistent.

Balance in this game is, again, laughable.

What is most insulting, however, is that you profess to care about us while you lavish time, money, and attention on your fledgling eSport scene.

It’s obvious that OWL has forced balance, lore, and other enjoyable things onto the back-burner, where they languish in silence.

It’s too long. Nobody will read it, only post snarky goodbyes and tldrs. Try to shorten it up while keeping the core message intact.

How about stating each issue as one line and then responding with further information upon request? That might get people talking and discussing things after they read the short summary.

I’m leaving too. (Technically, I already did but I still check out streamers here and there and I still visit the forums.) I would also add that console players have been ignored as well. :confused:

Well let’s see in QM I can tell you easily that a pro widow maker ruins a game easily and Tracer / Genji pretty much ruin everything in their path.

By QM do you mean Quick Play? You can always leave a quick play game.
