We can now change our online id on PS4! What will you change your Overwatch main account or smurf names to?
I would need to do some research, but I thought there were negatives to doing it. So… Probably not. I have like eight accounts anyways.
only a few games are negatively effected Overwatch isn’t one of them

Didn’t know you couldn’t change your name on PS4, does Sony also charge for it?

You can revert back to your old name free of charge

well, i changed my psn ID, and i logged into overwatch, my account was brand new so i lost my level and comp seasons. A friend of mine who changed their psn ID as well, their account is still there. Idk what i could have done wrong

Same thing for me. Tried linking my blizzard account to overwatch but apparently there’s no backup feature
I changed my psn name three times yesterday. My account was the same on Overwatch after each name change. Weird.
Revert back to your old name if that doesn’t work

Oh gosh I wanted to change my name, I asked two people and it worked for them, so I tough it was ok, but maybe it’s not, did you get your accoutn back yet ? And if yes, do you know what caused it ?
Changed my name. Everything fine with zero issues.
