Apparently this has been a thing for the last 3 months and I just found out.
If you didn’t know then now you know.
You can use Nvidia graphics cards with freesync monitors now. However only works with GTX 1000/2000 series!
How to enable it?
First enable Freesync on your monitor. Run nvidia control panel, go to
Display —>Set up Gsync —> Enable G-sync/G-sync compatible. And you’re done.
How to use it:
Freesync/G-sync ONLY works if you have <144 fps, or fps less than your monitors max refresh rate. So if you have a 144Hz monitor limit fps to 138 fps, it works the best just a bit under your max refresh rate.
Enjoy smoothness.

i can easy get 300fps but with g-sync you can only get input lag so no thanks.
What is that? Can you explain it?
You actually get less input lag than if you had 300 fps on, go check battlenonsense video on it, search this " FreeSync vs. G-Sync Compatible | Unexpected Input Lag Results" on youtube to get the video.
Freesync is AMD’s version of G-Sync which is just a much more advanced and stronger version of V-Sync as I understand it.
Less screen tearing at higher FPS.
Sweet I’ve been looking for something to buff my PS4’s performance!
It basically means your monitors refresh rate changes with your fps.
On standard monitors your refresh rate is set at fixed values 60Hz/144Hz etc.
On gsync/freesync your monitor refresh rate changes with your fps, so if your fps changes from 100 to 83 then so does your refresh rate.
